Despite of wide dry areas in Iran, there are also areas that are potentially suitable for growing the livestock feeds. So, with proper management and planning, this potential can be used to increasing the livestock feed production, and as a result, reduce the country's dependence on the imports and reduce the currency outflow.
According to the potential of the Dadar company's agricultural lands, about 10 hectares have been allocated for the cultivation of barley and corn for livestock (at the end of 2021, two hectares have been cultivated by the corn).
